"The Gun that Won the West!" This wonderful honest used Winchester repeating rifle is in . 44 40 caliber, correctly marked with 44 W. C. F. over the chamber, while the brass carrier block marking is worn away. It features a short 18" octagonal barrel and full length magazine tube, which we assume was shortened from the original 24". It is however always possible that it was a special order, as the butt stock also
